The exhibition “With no Statute of Limitations. The Genocide of the Soviet People” is dedicated to one of the most tragic chapters in the history of the twentieth century – the crimes committed by the nazis and their collaborators during the Great Patriotic War.
The exhibition reveals various aspects of the policy of genocide, including punitive operations, crimes against children, the deliberate creation of conditions incompatible with life, the deportation of Soviet citizens into slavery, and the extermination of civilians and prisoners of war. Every thesis presented in the exhibition is based on carefully selected materials: unique archival documents, photographs, and statistical data. The purpose of the exhibition is to preserve the memory of the victims of nazism and to demonstrate the nature of the war of annihilation through verified data and reliable sources.
The exhibition reflects the outcomes of the Nuremberg Trials as well as the results of 34 court proceedings conducted in modern Russia, which recognized the crimes committed by the nazis and their collaborators against civilians and prisoners of war in the territories of present-day Russian regions during the Great Patriotic War as genocide.
